Goodbye Captcha, Hello Robots!

Several of you have told me recently that you couldn't leave comments on my blog due to that pesky little word scramble at the end. That thing has been the bane of my existence for awhile, but I couldn't figure out how to make it go away. And then today, I logged into my settings, and--surprise!--all I needed to do was select "no" under the drop-down menu that asks me if I want word verification. Ta-da!

(Not the most technologically savvy writer here, clearly...)

So, that's that! I don't even care if you are a robot... I'm excited to start hearing from you!

Have a wonderful Saturday, everyone!

This is a test from Lisa to make sure I'm not lying about the end of the captcha train!

I am a robot. I have just accessed all your most precious files and peeked into your sock drawer, and spied on that dolphin at the right so I can assess its needs as a consumer.

@RK: Thank you! Following you now, too!

@Phresh: Hahahaha, once again you've made me laugh out loud. And I think that one's in the market for some sparkly new hand lotion or perhaps Madonna's latest release.

Excellent! And BTW, if you get a lot of spam in the beginning, don't worry, it'll eventually all go away and it won't be posted on your blog. You can check from time to time under your comments bar to make sure none of your "real" commenters got sent there.

Now I'm going to check my settings. There's nothing worse than those pesky words. I can NEVER read them.

Oh man, I want to steal Jenny's comment but don't think it will be as funny the second time. And as for spam, Blogger is actually pretty good at catching it and it's under a different place in your settings.

Yeah! Blogger recently changed the menu so you could eliminate the word verification. Before you had to revert back to the old interface to do it.

I wish I could remember all the comments I tried to leave previously but could not. Oh well. You'll just have to trust me that they were all stuff about how great you are.

Yay! I'm commenting, I'm commenting, I'm commenting! ;-) Excited to finally be able to join the par-tay...

Now our only fear will be getting caught in the spam filter. I've ended up their in another friends blog, so don't leave me in the dark with all the other spammies!

Some people have accused me of being a robot or a Martian, but my response is always the same: IT--IS--NOT--TRUE 01010000111100000

Oops.

Have you tried Intense Debate for comments? I like it and I don't think it requires captchas for comments, but I could be lying.
